Foster the People- Houdini (Acoustic)
"Got shackles on, my words are tied."
I love acoustic music, love, love, LOVE it! There is something so beautiful about a song played out with nothing more than a few simple instruments and a raw voice. So when I found the acoustic version of one of my favorite Foster the People songs, "Houdini" I knew I'd be instantly taken by it,
and I was. Some people are annoyed with Mark's vocals, but overall I think they are lovely and very unique, not to mention the finger picking style he uses is incredible! When I found this acoustic version I didn't expect that type of sound coming from Foster the People, because I'm so used to their indietronica style to their live music. But the contrast between the two really made me fall for their music even more. Because it just proves how they are taking their creations to the next level, and I love that!
As you can see I am a huge fan of FTP and am lucky to say that I am going to be seeing them with a few friends tomorrow! :D Which is going to be AH-MAZING! The line up is great too! Kimbra and Tokyo Police Club! Ahhhhhhh so. much. AWESOMENESS!
